People drifted into the kitchen before the meeting, commenting one after another about the plant on the counter.

"I can't believe that's real!" "Is that orchid real?" "Oh my gosh, that can't be real." Yes, it was real. This was the third year it had bloomed so magnificently. In between the flowering times, it had been outside by the deck, in its' hibernation phase, resting and preparing to bloom again.

"Could that be real?", a question posed a couple thousand years ago, and sometimes still today. "Did Jesus really die? It looked so real." Yes, He did really die, from the horrendous death of crucifixion.

And then, "Did Jesus really rise from the dead?" Yes, He did. Many persons witnessed and spoke with the resurrected Christ. Historical writings, in addition to the Bible, record these events. Unequivocally it is true and a fact that Jesus died and was resurrected to life in three days. This was all predicted and prophesied hundreds of years prior by Isaiah, Daniel, and Malachi.

It looked so real because it was real. Thank God! He is risen, He is risen indeed; today we have a living Savior. That is GOOD NEWS.
